Founded in 1995, Aztec Oils has grown through word-of-mouth reputation, known for reliability and quality in both product and service. To maintain this reputation, our success is reliant on our relationships with trusted distributors, of which there are now 25 servicing key regions worldwide.
Spectrum began as a supplier of PPE and other industrial consumable products in 1996 but our journey with Aztec Oils began later that year when Spectrum was a fledgling outfit looking to expand its product range to include lubricants. What started with the simple purchase of a 205ltr of Hydraulic 46 has resulted some quarter of a century later in a partnership exceeding a million pounds per annum and a cornerstone of Spectrum's offering.
In those early days, Spectrum realised that by committing to reliable, high levels of service coupled with Aztec Oils' competitive pricing and huge lubricant range, we could create a useful partnership that benefitted both companies and also our customers.
Aztec Oils recognised that Spectrum could offer an important role as a local distributor and even gave Spectrum a small office to work from (although in those early days, a desk in the corner with a phone is a more accurate description).
Over the years Aztec Oils have expanded into one of the nations leading lubricant manufacturers, shipping all over the world and Spectrum's role as their local distributor, able to hold finished product and respond quickly to all sizes of enquiry, is as important now as it was all those years ago.
Spectrum's range of goods and services has continuously expanded and is simply endless, it also includes licensed removal of waste oils/hazardous waste.
Both companies are proud to employ local people and have great teams who are committed to ensuring that this journey, some quarter of a century old and counting, is set to continue for years to come!
